Polybutylene and brass push-to-connect tube fittings are compatible with a variety of tubing materials and suitable for air applications such as pneumatic tools and actuators. Polybutylene is a thermoplastic polymer with temperature resistance, flexibility, and high hydrostatic pressure resistance. Brass, an alloy of copper and zinc, is strong and resists corrosion from water, heat, acids, minerals, and peaty soils.
