HOW CAN EACH MATERIAL CAN BE USED?
Aluminum camlocks are lighweight and durable. Commonly used for transporting water, petroleum, hydraulic oils and various chemicals excluding highly corrosive or acidic substances.
Stainless Steel cam and groove couplings provide a secure connection between hoses and pipes. They are valued for corrosion resistance, durability, and high-temperature tolerance. Used in food and sanitary procesing, chemical transfer, and oil & gas industries.
Polypropylene or plastic camlock couplings are more cost-effective, corrosion resistant, and lightweight. These are great for quickly connecting or disconnecting low pressure suction or discharge hoses. You will see these camlocks in agricultural, industrial and chemical applications.
