Our business was started in 1970 by Peter Weis. The cornerstone of our business is electric motor repairs and sales. We've been able to grow our business with the knowledge we have on how motors work and how to apply the right motor to the job.
Our Story
Our technical knowledge is second to none. We've had to move the business three times because we have outgrown the spaces we were previously located. About five years ago, we completed an expansion that included adding a larger warehouse, larger repair facility, and larger showroom to our current store. We have just recently added a rewinding department at our Willmar, Minnesota location.
For over 10 years, Dave and Tyler have been technicians at Electric Motor Company in Redwood Falls. Sara currently works as our office manager and has been with us for eight years. Greg moved to the Willmar area in 2016 to open our new location. Lou started with us in 2017 and was hired as a technician/rewinder at our Willmar, Minnesota location. Jacob was hired in 2020 as a field technician and moved to an outside sales roll in 2022. We've added Lorenzo, Otilio and Erick to our outside service team this year along with adding Reiley as an inside sales person and William as a technician to our staff in Willmar this year as well.
